Welcome to the website for Varykino, a large country homestead on
70 acres of quiet rolling plains, just 10 kilometres from Mudgee
on the Hill End (Hargreaves) Road.
Varykino is a magnificent homestead with the ambience of panoramic views, peace and
quiet and total relaxation. The accent is on up-market relaxation, within easy reach of
Mudgee's myriad attractions.
You'll find us in the beautiful Erudgere Valley within a 2 klm
radius of four vineyard cellar doors, Thistle Hill, Mudgee's only
5 star organic vineyard, together with Erudgere, Blacklea and
Burnbrae vineyards, who all offer that excellent cellar door experience
with their superlative range of wines, olives and oils for tasting.
A visit to Blacklea vineyard to sample Bernard and Gai's 'GOLD'
winning olives is an absolute must.
A visit to Varykino takes you through rolling cattle plains. We're
set on five acres of park-like gardens, with water lily dams, teeming
goldfish, geese, fountains and bridges. All of this is set in a
"Monet" theme.

Our accommodation consists of:
The Cottage
A separate 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom guest house ("the cottage")
on the water lily dam; and
The Apartment
Attached to the main house, up the garden from the cottage; also with 3 bedrooms, 2
bathrooms.
Each facility is totally private, with the apartment having its own
entrance.
Due to our water features, Varykino is not recommended for small children.
We are unable to accommodate pets.
